Looking good is all about understanding what suits YOU.
If you find shopping for clothes difficult, or perhaps have a wardrobe full of clothes and nothing to wear, you are not alone – many women wear only about 20% of their wardrobe most of the time! Perhaps you’ve never quite understood which shapes and styles flatter your individual body shape/height, perhaps you’ve gained or lost weight, perhaps you have found your body shape changing with age, perhaps you’ve had a lifestyle change which means your current wardrobe of clothes is no longer relevant? Whatever your challenge, a Style Consultation will help you understand which styles flatter you and why, so you can select the clothes and accessories that suit your shape, your personality and your lifestyle.
How it works
You’ll start by filling in a short questionnaire to help us determine your ‘style personality’. Then we’ll discuss your body shape and you will learn how to make the most of your good features and how to take attention away from the features you don’t like. Advice will cover clothing styles, fabrics, patterns and accessories, as well as ideas for places to shop. I even include guidance on hairstyles and glasses.
You will be asked to bring several pieces of clothing from your own wardrobe to the consultation – some things you like, and some you don’t – so that you can see in practice what you have learnt throughout your style consultation, and understand how to adapt and sort your wardrobe when you get home. I’ll make a note of all the tips and advice you receive in your style workbook, so you’ll leave with a record of all the advice you have been given. You will then have the confidence of knowing what your personal style is and how to choose the right clothes for you.
A Style Consultation will show you how to:
- Select the most flattering styles and fabrics for your body shape/height/scale/proportions
- Emphasise what you like about your body and disguise what you don’t
- Express your individual personality through your wardrobe
- Build a wardrobe that works for you – whatever your age, stage, lifestyle or budget
- Avoid shopping disasters, with recommendations of where to shop
- Dress with confidence, whatever the occasion
